Oracle likes to support local artists by showcasing work. However, we do have finite resources, so please read these guidelines carefully before submitting anything to us:

  • Submissions must be from local artists.
  • Submissions must be your own original work.
  • Articles/reviews must be no more than 350 words in length.
  • Short stories must be no more than 1000 words in length.
  • Photographs/images need to be of a reasonably high resolution.
  • We prefer material with a local setting or relevance.
  • Articles/reviews must be exclusive firsts to Oracle for the month that we publish, i.e. the work can not appear in any other magazine or on any other media until at least a month after we publish it.
  • Stories with seasonal themes need to be submitted at least 3 months in advance, i.e. Christmas stories should reach us by September at the latest.

  • We will contact you only if we would like to publish your work.
