January this year, I wrote an article ‘Why has this been allowed to happen?' Raising awareness of the plight of Southend’s High Street and surrounding areas. (If you missed the article visit Oracle’s ‘Latest magazine page' on its website). Over the last 16 years since launching the Oracle, I have never used the magazine to write my own personal views, however I feel I can’t stay silent any longer. I know my sorrow and frustration regarding Southend’s accelerating demise, is shared with many of you. Share your views on this issue by writing to info@oraclepublications.co.uk
