London Southend airport in partnership with Essex Therapy Dogs will again be providing extra support to our passengers this summer, especially for those who find travel more challenging. The support comes in the shape of an elite pack of furry friends that have been expertly trained and conditioned to a ‘Top Dog’ level of friendliness and companionship by their doting owners.
This summer, passengers of London Southend airport can use the below link to find out more information and meet the Airpaws team - which member of the pack could be your ‘wingman’ throughout the airport journey?

Therapy Dogs are a fantastic addition, aiding the confidence of our passengers who need a little extra support. We are delighted to be working with the dedicated founder and owners of the ‘Top Dogs’ from Essex Therapy Dogs. We cannot thank them enough for their amazing commitment to our passengers this summer.
Tina Jullings, Chair & Founder - Essex Therapy Dogs “I am thrilled that Essex Therapy Dogs have been invited to Southend Airport to help support anxious and nervous passengers. Our dogs always receive a warm welcome from both passengers and airport staff alike, everyone leaves with a big smile on their face after our dogs have waved them off with their paws! Our therapy dogs are really looking forward to giving those who need it lots of pawsome hugs this summer….
