Local chef and seasonal, sustainable, plant-based food advocate, Charlotte Hopson has responded to the Covid-19 pandemic and UK lockdown by creating a free-downloadable e-book designed to nourish, inspire creativity and help keep up motivation and morale. LIVING WELL IN LOCKDOWN is a collection of over 50 delicious recipes, revitalising natural remedies and useful home-growing tips all kindly donated by sustainable food advocates, chefs, herbalists and nutritionists.
The book can be downloaded via www.oat-kitchen.co.uk/e-book
Before lockdown, Charlotte travelled as a chef & yoga teacher with her business OAT KITCHEN, feeding yogis all over the world on retreats. She continues to share her passion for creative, wholesome cooking online, and actively promotes wellness using Ayurvedic principles, self-care practices, movement and meditation.
This short film tells the story of COVID-19 from the perspective of local small business owners. It's a story of uncertainty, resilience and adaptation.
