Raising Awareness for Domestic Abuse In The Workplace

The Business Crime Team are working in partnership with the Essex Chambers of Commerce, The Southend, Essex and Thurrock Domestic Abuse Partnership and Alpha Vesta, to educate businesses on domestic abuse in the workplace, as well as how they can look after their staff and identify where external referrals and support could help.
The first conference was held on Friday 18th March 2022 which was viewed by 120 participants from Essex Businesses. It is anticipated that the Business Crime Team will evolve this into further events to get businesses thinking about other vulnerabilities in the workplace and create their own policies to deal with these important issues
