Tyson Luke Fury born on the 12th August 1988 is a professional boxer, best known for his achievements winning: The Unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, The Ring magazine and lineal heavyweight titles, by defeating long-reigning champion, Wladimir Klitschko, in Germany. After vacating the WBA, WBO in 2016 regarding suffering from mental health issues, The inspiration is back on track and determined to reclaim his fame and fortune in the boxing industry.
Two years down the line in early 2018, ‘The Ring’ stripped him of his last remaining title. Later that year, after more than two years of inactivity, Fury returned to the ring to challenge Deontay Wilder, for the WBC heavyweight title, which was announced a draw. Although, there was no win, Fury’s tough performance against Wilder earned him Comeback of the Year as well as three nominations.
Having initially being denied, to represent his family’s ancestry to fight for Ireland in the Olympic games, Fury has received other opportunities, including representing Britain in the Commonwealth games, achieving the British and English heavyweight titles twice each and receiving European, Commonwealth and Irish titles.
After celebrating his second round of demolition against opponent Tom Schwartz, in Las Vegas last month. The former two weight world champion recently joined our competition winner, and other boxing fans for a Q&A session at Southend’s theatre, The Cliffs Pavilion, the event was hosted by promotional company, Luxxe of London who teamed up with CWH Promotions. An enjoyable evening was had by all, the night featured some familiar celebrity guest appearances, with music from Pitman and Gibson and other recognisable faces from our Television screen such as, Jack Fincham, winner of Love Island 2018.
